Player Information

First Name: Steve
Last Name: Johnson
Team Name: Bills

Steve Johnson - WR - Bills Dec. 14 - 4:46 PM et

Johnson scores a touchdown against Jets

Johnson played physically and made some nice catches. His standing on the depth chart and shaky quarterback situation make him a fantasy non-factor for the time being, but he's the size and ability to be a solid player someday.

Johnson catches first NFL pass in Week 11
The Bills seventh-round pick this year, Johnson outperformed fellow rookie James Hardy, who was shutout. Johnson caught his first NFL pass and was the Bills most productive receiver. The University of Kentucky product has great size and looked comfortable under the bright lights, but he is not a fantasy option at this stage.

Bills sign promising second-rounder Johnson
Both from physical and in-college production standpoints, it's difficult to comprehend why so many teams let Johnson fall to round seven. He was also impressive in minicamp season, and if Johnson keeps it up deep into the summer, he could push fellow rookie James Hardy for snaps opposite Lee Evans.

Johnson drawing praise
Johnson still has a long training camp to go, but it sounds like he's made the most of voluntary work. He had a good amount of production in college and the Bills need a big receiver to step up among Johnson and James Hardy.

Bills take Steve Johnson
A 6'2/208-pound wideout, Johnson had a huge senior year (his only as a starter), catching 60 passes for 1,041 yards (17.4 YPC) and 13 scores. He's been limited as a route runner to this point, but has a quality possession threat skill set.
