Wilson, a converted receiver, played well during a short stint as Buffalo's starting free safety. The Bills have placed a team record 14 players on season-ending injured reserve this year. Costanzo is an undrafted rookie.

The Bills will not place Wilson on injured reserve in hopes they make the playoffs. Jim Leonhard will start at free safety in the last three games.
