Steven Jackson - RB - Rams |
Nov. 20 - 8:45 PM et |
|
Steven Jackson predictably disputed coach Jim Haslett's notion that a training-camp holdout was at the root of Jackson's lingering quadriceps injury. S-Jax called it a freak injury and said, "I asked the doctor if there was anything that I could do to prevent it in the future and he said no." He added that the Rams can bring in all the insurance they want next year, but he's not sharing his carries. That's what we like to hear, but he better follow Haslett's advice and work with strength and conditioning coaches this offseason. Source: ESPN.com |

Kyle Vanden Bosch - DL - Titans |
Nov. 20 - 8:11 PM et |

Titans RE Kyle Vanden Bosch (groin) and LB Keith Bulluck (ribs) returned to practice Thursday. Bulluck has continued to suit up for games, but this is his first practice in three weeks. Vanden Bosch has missed three of the past four games but appears set for Sunday's matchup against the Jets, which will complicate matters for Brett Favre & Co. Source: Unknown |

James Jones - WR - Packers |
Nov. 20 - 8:04 PM et |
|
After coach Mike McCarthy said that he "has to learn to play with" injuries, WR James Jones said Thursday that he "messed up" a ligament in his knee and is trying hard to get it healthy. Jones keeps aggravating the injury while he tries to play through it, so maybe he has a point. In the meantime, rookie Jordy Nelson has taken over No. 3 duties. Jones likely won't be productive again until next season. Source: Sporting News |

Darren McFadden - RB - Raiders |
Nov. 20 - 7:34 PM et |

Darren McFadden (toe) practiced in full again on Thursday. McFadden will play in Week 12, but his role remains to be seen. He isn't a fantasy option until he begins stealing regular carries from Justin Fargas. Source: Oakland Tribune |

Chaz Schilens (ankle) was limited again in Raiders practice Thursday. The rookie receiver remains on track to start Sunday against Denver. Source: Oakland Tribune |

JaMarcus Russell - QB - Raiders |

Kwame Harris - T - Raiders |
Nov. 20 - 7:29 PM et |
|
Raiders LT Kwame Harris leads all NFL players with nine false starts. Ten teams have nine false starts or fewer. Football Outsiders did a study a few years back that directly correlated false starts with wins and it wasn't pretty for the most penalized teams. Perhaps if Oakland had drafted Ryan Clady over Darren McFadden in April they'd be in playoff contention. Source: Oakland Tribune |
